Terms of Service

1. What Flipsell is

Flipsell is a tool that helps you sell items on Facebook Marketplace. You upload photos of an item; our AI (powered by Anthropic's Claude API) identifies the item, researches a comparable price, and generates a listing title, description, and search keywords. You review and edit that output, then paste it into Facebook Marketplace yourself — Flipsell does not post on your behalf, since Facebook Marketplace has no public posting API.

2. AI output is an estimate, not a guarantee

Item identifications, condition assessments, and prices generated by Flipsell are estimates produced by an AI model and are provided for your convenience only. They may be wrong — an item can be misidentified, a suggested price can be too high or too low for your market, and a description can contain inaccuracies. You are solely responsible for reviewing and correcting any AI-generated content before you use it, and for the accuracy of any listing you publish. Flipsell is not responsible for lost sales, mispriced items, or any dispute with a buyer arising from listing content you chose to publish.

3. Your account and content

You're responsible for the accuracy of the account information you provide and for keeping your login credentials secure. You retain ownership of the photos and listing details you upload. By uploading them, you grant Flipsell a license to process, store, and transmit them (including to our AI provider) solely to provide the service to you.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Flipsell to:

• Upload photos or descriptions of items you don't have the right to sell, or that are illegal to sell.
• Generate listing content that is fraudulent, deceptive, or infringes on someone else's intellectual property.
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or overload the service, or access accounts other than your own.
• Use the service in any way that violates Facebook Marketplace's own terms of use — you're responsible for complying with those terms when you post the listings we help you draft.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

5. Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans are billed monthly and renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account settings; when you cancel, you keep access to your paid plan's features through the end of the period you've already paid for, and the subscription will not renew after that. We don't offer refunds for partial months or unused time within a billing period. Current plans and pricing are listed on our pricing page and are subject to change with notice before your next renewal. 6. Not affiliated with Meta or Facebook

Flipsell is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Meta Platforms, Inc. or Facebook Marketplace. "Facebook" and "Facebook Marketplace" are trademarks of Meta Platforms, Inc.

7. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

Flipsell is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Flipsell and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — including lost profits or lost sales — arising from your use of the service or reliance on AI-generated content. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim arose.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you by email. Continued use of Flipsell after a change means you accept the updated terms.
